At least that's what Lady Gaga tells
Oprah Winfrey during her one-on-one interview with the media mogul for Oprah's
Next Chapter.
"Other than this interview, Oprah, I do
not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time," the pop superstar
explains.
"The latest thing I do is I don't read a
damn thing," she adds about limiting her media intake. "No press, no television,
if my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about?' I don't want to know nothing
about anything that is going on in relation to music. I shut it all
off."
The singer's silent vow seems to fall in
place with her appearance at the 2012 Grammy Awards Feb. 12. Rather than making
headlines like in past years, the star, who didn't present or take home any
awards, skipped the red carpet and was shown sitting quietly in her
seat.
"I want kids, I want a soccer team," she
says about wanting a large family. "And I want a husband. Well, I'm being
superfluous. I don't want to have one kid. I want to have a few."
