It was a Spice Girl reunion in London on Tuesday

It was a  Spice Girl reunion in London on Tuesday when Melanie Brown, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Melanie Chisholm came together to drum up interest in "Viva Forever," an upcoming musical based on the hit songs of the '90s girl group.

The event took place at St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel, where the Spice Girls filmed their music video for "Wannabe" back in 1996. The women looked better than ever as they gathered to talk about "Viva Forever," which will be produced by Judy Craymer, the mastermind behind the ABBA musical, "Mamma Mia!" The show centers around four women whose friendship is put to the test when their band competes on a TV talent-competition show. The musical, which opens this fall, will feature hit songs made famous by the Spice Girls, who sold 75 million records around the world.

"They sing it better than us," Melanie Brown, better known as Scary Spice, told the Associated Press, referring to the cast of the musical.

The Spice Girls formed in 1994 and shot to fame two years later when they released their debut single, "Wannabe." Some of their other hit songs include "Say You'll Be There," "Spice Up Your Life," and "Viva Forever," which was the inspiration for the name of the musical. Halliwell left the group in 1998, and while the remaining four continued to make music together, they called it quits in 2000. This is the first Spice Girls appearance since they all participated in a reunion tour in 2007 and 2008.

Summertime and the Listenin's Easy: 25 Summer Songs

Summer is here, folks, and I can hardly think of anything I like better than the hot-weather activities the season brings on: barbecues, beach trips, convertible trips with the top down (if you're lucky enough to know anyone with a convertible, anyway). But one of the most important elements for all those things is a great soundtrack; you need songs that are upbeat, that are happy, and that somehow channel that carefree, fabulous Summer feeling. I've got your seasonal songs right here — whether they have the word "Summer" right in the title or are about this blissful time of year.

Hair Tricks that Make You Look 7 Years Younger

If you've never had them, know that bangs work Botox-like wonders in disguising forehead wrinkles. "They also make your hair appear fuller, which helps deflect from thinning," says celebrity hairstylist Ric Pipino, who works with Elle Macpherson and Fergie. His advice? Go big or go home: "Thick, softly beveled bangs are the most girlish," he says. If that sounds too rock 'n' roll, try a long, sideswept fringe, which creates pretty movement and also erases years.

We're shouting it from salon rooftops: The difference between a haircut that's aging and one that's age-defying comes down to layers. "Without them, hair doesn't move--and nothing makes you seem older than stiff hair," says hairstylist Juan Carlos Maciques of the Rita Hazan Salon in New York City, who works with Jennifer Lopez. "No matter what your length, you want delicate layers throughout and face-framing pieces. This creates lush, healthy-looking hair, which softens your entire appearance." (Blunt cuts, on the other hand, can catapult you a decade, à la Callista Gingrich.) And we're setting the record straight on length: You don't have to abandon long hair for a short, so-called sensible 'do when you hit 40. "Just get regular trims so your hair maintains that healthy look," Maciques says.

If you have kinky or African-American hair and wear it natural, "a cut that's shoulder-length or shorter is the most youthful--any longer, and your hair starts to balloon around your head, which piles on the years," says hairstylist Tippi Shorter, whose clients include Jennifer Hudson and Mary J. Blige. This hair type also needs a serious wallop of moisture to prevent it from getting dry and brittle (an instant ager). For this, use a curl-enhancing product, says Shorter, whose fave brand is Kinky-Curly. "It's an ethnic hair-care line with different curl enhancers, from a lightweight serum to a rich cream, so there's something for every type of curl."

Slicked-back styles put every pore and fine line on full display. Instead, use your fingers to rake your hair back into a ponytail or bun, which creates soft ripples and a slightly fuzzy finish that's relaxed and sexy. "It's okay if it's a little messy--that's what makes it young," Pipino says.

As every Disney heroine reminds us, glossy hair is a symbol of youth and vitality (anthropologists, incidentally, agree). An at-home glaze like John Frieda Clear Shine Luminous Glaze, $9.99, restores sheen with nourishing oils and works on all hair types, including ethnic. Apply it once a month to wet, freshly shampooed hair; wait five minutes, then rinse and follow with conditioner.

Unless you're going for that Maria Callas, super-diva vibe, "a center part can make you look severe," Maciques says. His softening tip: Shift your part to the side and make it slightly zigzaggy, which creates an effortless look that (bonus!) hides grays and roots.

Lady Gaga & Taylor Kinney Back On!

Giving love another shot, Lady Gaga is reportedly dating her ex-boyfriend Taylor Kinney proving they must not have "Bad Romance" after all, according to Us Weekly.

The "Born This Way" singer is currently touring in Asia, which is where relationship rumors sparked when the singer and her 30-year-old ex were spotted showing off a little PDA in both Thailand and Singapore.

"They sure looked like they were back together -- holding hands and being cute everywhere they went," an onlooker told Us during the couple's Thailand stay. "They were seen kissing right as they got into the [hotel] elevator."

After dating for 10 months the couple split in early May but the insider confirms Gaga is back on with the "Vampire Diaries" star adding, "They are going to try and make it work even with her crazy schedule, Gaga realized she missed him."

However, a packed schedule may tear the couple apart again and according to the source, "She will be touring nonstop until next year," an insider explained, "There's just no room for anything else. Her work is all-consuming."

"They may still be trying to make it work. She feels like having him keeps her grounded," the source revealed. "Obviously she thinks he's hot . . .She says he's 'really cool.'"
