Madonna Performs Mashup of 'Express Yourself'' & 'Born This Way
Bystanders who were watching a recent
rehearsal for Madonna's upcoming Tel Aviv, Israel performance on May 31 seemed
to have gotten a little more than they bargained for.
In a video that was released via YouTube on Sunday (May 27), the iconic songstress took the stage to go over her hit "Express Yourself" but instead threw in a little of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" about halfway through the performance, belting it out as if it were her own.
Whether or not the Mother Monster is aware of the mashup is unknown, but this could all stem back to many critics claiming that Gaga's 2011 hit single had quite a resemblance to "Express Yourself."
Despite the controversy, the 26-year-old performer told Jay Leno on the "Tonight Show" last year that Madonna sent her "love and complete support", but earlier this year the "MDNA" singer had a slightly different opinion.
In an interview with Newsweek magazine when she first got a taste of the song for herself the 53-year-old icon described the new track as a "redo" of "Express Yourself” and "thought it was… interesting."

Lady Gaga: Dealing with Drama in Indonesia
Lady Gaga’s no stranger to controversy,
and Lady Gaga is experiencing all kinds of push-back from folks in Indonesia who
don’t want her to perform in Jakarta on June 3.
It was previously announced that the gig was cancelled due to a lack of permits, but now “Born This Way” tour promoters are trying to negotiate with city officials to make it happen.
Gaga tweeted, "The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show & religious extremist separately, are threatening violence. If the show does go on as scheduled, I will perform the BTWBall alone."
Asrorun Niam from the National Ulema Council announced, "Lady Gaga is considered an icon for liberal culture and Indonesia's freedom is not without limits. There are restrictions related to norms, morals and religion."
Meanwhile, the Islamic Defenders Front has threatened to ‘create havoc’ at the show, calling Gaga the ‘devil’s messenger.’ "We have gotten Lady Gaga tickets, not to watch but for us to enter. Whatever will be will be, we're ready for the risk."

Emma Watson on "The Bling Ring" Set: First Look!
Fresh off of spending the St. Patrick's
Day weekend in Boston, Emma Watson was back in work mode as she kicked off a new
project titled "The Bling Ring" in Calabasas, California on Monday .
The "Harry Potter" actress could be seen donning a bathrobe as she was led around the set's first locale chosen by director Sofia Coppola.
Inspired by real life events, "The Bling Ring" tells the story of a group of teenagers, also known as the 'Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch,' who were caught robbing celebrity homes of stars such as Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson, and Lindsay Lohan.
Along with shooting material in Calabasas, production will also be taking place largely in Los Angeles, along with a few days in Las Vegas .

Making her way around the globe, Lady
Gaga was spotted arriving at the Sungshan Airport in Taipei, Taiwan today (May
16).
The “Just Dance” singer was hard to miss, thanks to her bright lime green dress teamed with a multi-colored coif, as she waved to fans and press before heading to her hotel. Lady Gaga is in Taiwan for a pair of concerts as part of her Asian Born This Way Ball tour.
In career news, Gaga will be featured on the “Simpsons” season finale on May 20th at 8pm ET on FOX.
Of her experience doing the voice for “Lisa Goes Gaga,” Gaga explained, “I think I was more nervous than I've ever been, because I have so much respect for [the cast and crew]. I just wanted to do a good job."

Lady Gaga Says Sayonara to Tokyo, Heads to Taipei
Finished up with her stay in Japan, a Chanel Paris clad Lady Gaga was spotted readying for a departing flight out of
Tokyo on Wednesday .
After hitting a karaoke bar and greeting fans with photographer Terry Richardson in tow the previous night, the Mother Monster was chauffeured over to Narita International Airport to board an outbound aircraft headed to Taiwan.
Giving herself only one day off, Gaga is lined up to perform shows at the Nangan World Trade Center in Taipei on May 17th & 18th before continuing along to Manila as her arduous Born This Way Ball tour rolls along.
On a side note, the Asian efforts come as
the 26-year-old singer landed herself a pair of Award-winning Songs at Tuesday
night's 60th annual BMI Pop Awards for her tracks "Born This Way" and "Edge of
Glory".

Lady Gaga Shows Off Tokyo Ring Bling: Is She Engaged?
While backstage during her performance in
Tokyo, Japan, Lady Gaga took some time to show off a new rock adorning her left
ring finger.
Spending some quality time with celebrity photographer Terry Richardson, the mother monster sparked engagement rumors after the photo of her showing off the new bling was released on his site.
While in the Japanese town, the 26-year-old performer tweeted, “Yes Tokyo! Tonight was the first BTWBall that I didn't puke during show.
Although there's been no official confirmation on the pop star's potential plans to walk down the aisle, rumors sparked that her on-again off-again boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, was shopping for an engagement ring before their most recent break-up.

After spending the day together, Emma Stone and her boyfriend Andrew Garfield stepped out to kiss and hug her mom
goodbye outside her apartment in New York City on Sunday (May 13).
Looking adorable in a black and white dress and red cardigan, the "Easy A" actress made sure her mom got to her car safely while her "The Amazing Spider-Man" beau helped load up luggage and held onto Emma's dog before also hugging and kissing his potential mother-in-law goodbye.

Angelina Jolie Shows Off Her New Engagement Bling
A glowing Angelina Jolie was all smiles
as she stepped out of the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles this afternoon showing of her new 16-carat diamond engagement ring.
The "Changeling" actress sported the same olive colored dress she was spotted in when entering the hotel looking very thin while she waved to cameras looking very thrilled about her engagement to mega-star and longtime beau, Brad Pitt.
Rumors are flying regarding the Jolie-Pitt wedding, which is being compared to the Royal engagement held in 2011. The largest betting company in Europe, Ireland’s Paddy Power, gave Versace 5-2 odds that the 36-year-old actress would choose the designer for her wedding dress.
"There is little doubt that the Brad and Angelina wedding will be the showbiz story of the year," a Paddy spokesman said in an interview with E!. "With both the media and the public already speculating on every element of the wedding, we thought it was only fair that we offered our customers the chance to bet on it."
Other hopefuls include Max Azria, Giorgio Armani, Elie Saab and British brand Amanda Wakeley.

appearance as her animated self on "The Simpsons" in "Lisa Goes Gaga" for the
season 23 finale.
Donning 18 different outfits, Lady Gaga will try to boost The Simpson family's eldest daughter's spirits after she becomes a complete social outcast.
The 26-year-old super star said, "I play a bit of a slut. The apple doesn't fall far from my artistic tree."
In the show, the singer encourages Lisa and tells her it's okay to be different and unique, while the show'creator Matt Groening said, "Since the very beginning, I'e always wanted to have on the most iconic personalities of our time, and she' it. Lady Gaga's no stranger to award shows, and Lady Gaga was among the stars at the 2011 Bambi Awards in Wiesbaden, Germany on Thursday .
The "Born This Way" songstress arrived to the Rhein-Main-Hallen venue in her usual head-turning manner while readying for the overseas festivities to get underway.
During the course of the event, Gaga performed her new single "Marry the Night" at the fun-filled show while also receiving the Bambi Award in the "Pop International" category.
